Alison has been a student of yoga since 2000, and an instructor of yoga and adaptive recreation since 2005. She completed the 200+ hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher Training in November 2006 at It's Yoga in San Francisco, CA. She is excited to be a part of the Allyu community both as a spa coordinator, workshop facilitator and event organizer.

Amado graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in December 2000. Since becoming a massage therapist, he has continually developed his skill by working in many areas of his field. He has been employed by health and fitness centers, luxurious spas (such as Allyu Spa), chiropractic offices, and wellness centers. In 2003, Amado was featured in Allure magazine in an article named "Best Massages from Manhattan to Santa Monica". Amado's dedicated following of clients appreciate not only his skill, but his service as well. He believes that all clients deserve a personable experience and customizes his massage based on the client's needs. Amado is committed to treating everyone with courtesy and respect. He believes that "feeling good from within" is the key to a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle.  

Danijela is a graduate of the Skin Care and Spa Institute in Illinois. Prior to that, she studied esthetics in Europe, including training in microdermabrasion, PCA Chemical peels and eyelash extensions. Her goal is to relax clients as much as possible and allow them to feel secure in her care.

Elizabeth K. has a holistic approach to healing. She is a licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist and enjoys incorporating energy work into her treatments. She is thankful to have found Allyu where she can practice all of her specialties!

Gerri is a graduate from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and has been working full time since 2005. She is skilled in deep tissue, Swedish, pre-natal, hot stone, and reiki but specializes in neck, shoulder, back, and headache relief. Gerri's style is a blend of therapeutic touch and relaxing bodywork.

Heather is a graduate from Columbia College Chicago and the New School for Massage. She holds a certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworkand is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. In addition to her current certifications, she regularly participates in continuing education courses to better assist clients in healing and achieving well-being. 

Huong has worked professionally in the beauty industry for 11 years, focusing on the care of nails and skin. Her interest in this field stemmed from personal frustrations with poorly executed esthetics services, particularly regarding brow shaping, and she possesses a true dedication to creating exceptional results for her clients in a friendly, relaxing, and rejuvenation atmosphere. 

Jeff has 10 years of professional experience in therapeutic massage, 3 years professional experience in Bowen work and extensive training in the psycho-emotional and energetic aspects of bodywork.   He is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Hakomi  Institute of Boulder Colorado and the Bowen Academy of Australia.

Bowen work is a truly holistic therapy that gently encourages the body to self-release joint, muscle and facsial restrictions. All of the body's systems are stimulated and balanced in a Bowen work session. This approach has proven to be effective for many conditions that have not responded to more conventional approaches.

Jennifer H. combines Asian acupressure techniques such as Thai massage, Shiatsu, and reflexology to create a session that provides relaxation, therapy, and energetic balance. She is Alumni of Wat Po, Thailand's oldest and largest school of training, and of Ohashiatsu. She has traveled and studied throughout Asia to develop her Ki arts practice and currently holds a 2nd degree blackbelt.

Jennifer P. has been a model in the fashion industry for twenty years. Having dealt with frustration in keeping her own skin clear, she decided to attend The Aveda Institute in 2005 to obtain her esthetician license and help others achieve their skin's beautiful potential. In addition to her licensure courses, Jennifer's independent studies include an Advanced Medical Esthetics Certificate from True University, an internship at the office of cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr. Dayan, and over 100 hours of classes at the International Dermal Institute. Approaching her life and practice holistically, Jennifer offers soothing treatments that work with the body's chakras and energy levels from the inside out.

Marcia serves the Allyu community as one of five fabulous and attentive front desk coordinators. She graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago with bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Criminal Justice. She is currently working towards her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University and hopes to integrate the mind, body, and spirit perspective into her work as a future clinician. She declares that there is no better place to center the mind while pampering the body than at Allyu!

Roshani graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in September of 2007.  She believes massage therapy not only brings relaxation and relief, but also helps people to heighten the awareness of their bodies.  Roshani's style is to provide a safe and therapuetic touch which can help clients on their path to wellness. She specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, as well as swedish massage therapy. Roshani has plans to pursue further education in craniosacral therapy in the near future.

Sara B. joined Allyu in July 2009 as a front desk spa coordinator. She has always had a deep appreciation for wellness and is delighted to be a part of a community of healers. Besides working at Allyu, Sara is an independant jewelry artist, deconstructing vintage jewelry and reclaiming it into striking compilations of wearable art.

Sara M. trained in massage therapy at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She has been a body worker for 6 years and has studied a variety of modalities, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, body mobilization technique, Thai yoga massage, sports massage, hot stone therapy, and Reiki. Through listening to the body, Sara skillfully and intuitively integrates these therapies to create a deep, nurturing, and effective treatment that addresses each individual's needs and assists in the body's own healing power. Sara is honored to be doing this work and believes strongly in accessible bodywork to facilitate change in each individual as part of healing for the larger community.

Sarah L. graduated from the California Healing Arts College in Santa Monica, CA in 2003. She is trained in Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Pre-Natal, and Hot Stone treatments. Sarah strongly believes in a multi-faceted approach to wellness including fitness, diet, and massage therapy for full body detoxification and a lifelong state of health. In addition to national and state massage certifications, she has a Bachelors of Arts from Columbia College in Chicago. Sarah is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Shadia graduated from Everest College with a Dean's List Diploma in 2004. She incorporates a variety of modalities in her treatment. She is trained in Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal, hot stone, and therapeutic massage. Shadia is both nationally certified and licensed in the state of Illinois. Her professional education includes training in lymphatic drainage massage and cupping massage. Shadia specializes in womens' massage experience, and encourages healing and integration of the mind, body, and spirit.

Tiffany is a manager and proud member of the Allyu community. She has always had a passion for wellness and ecological sustainabilty and is thrilled to be a part of a space that beautifully integrates these ideas.  Often found at the front desk, Tiffany hopes that as you arrive and depart Allyu Spa she can be a part of making you feel relaxed and well cared for. 

Vanessa is a graduate of Pivot Point International with an esthetics concentration. Her goal is to educate her clients to achieve optimal results with self-care. She is a level 2 certified Reiki practitioner which she often incorporates into her treatments. Vanessa is also the Midwest representative of Astara Skincare, which is Allyu's primary skincare line.
