RESERVATIONS:
We will always do our best to accommodate walk-in requests. However, calling ahead is the best way to ensure your desired time and service. A credit card number will be taken to hold your reservation. We reserve the right to pre-authorize your credit card. On the day of your appointment, you are welcome to utilize a gift certificate or alternate form of payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand the occasional need to cancel an appointment. Please notify us of any cancellation at least six business hours in advance. A 50% service fee will be charged to your credit card for cancellations with less than six business hours notice. Full cost of your service is charged for appointments missed without notice. Personal spa days and the Couple’s Spa Retreat require twenty-four hours notice for changes/cancellations. Group spa events and workshops have unique cancellation policies that will be clarified at the time of reservation.

OUR SPACE:
The heart of our space is a tented relaxation area. Designed in the shape of a chakana, a South American sacred symbol, the tent is a beautiful space in which to relax prior to appointments. The chakana represents the cardinal directions and their respective elements, and altars within the tent pay homage to these elements. The beautiful pyrite crystal and white curtains in the center of the tent represent the balance between spirit, body, intellect, and emotions. We ask that this tranquil area remain cellphone, and electronic device, free.

A beautifully appointed gathering room is also available for spa groups desiring additional visiting time. Please call us directly or visit the area of our website pertaining to spa packages & groups for information on availability and rates.

We appreciate communication between clients and our employees. If you need anything (lower music volume, a robe to change into, more tea) please do not hesitate to ask.

LOCATION AND PARKING:
We are located on the northwest corner of the Chicago Ave/Larrabee St intersection, one light east of Halsted St.

Parking is available at both the garage at 811 N Larrabee (across from our entrance) and 950 N Kingsbury (at the end of our building).

If you park on Kingsbury, you can take the elevator to the riverwalk and access us from that level near the Chicago Ave bridge. We validate parking for $4 up to 3 hours. Beyond 3 hours, parking rates return to regular garage rates of $20 for up to 12 hours or $11 on weekends. These garages can fill to capacity during business hours. Please allow plenty of time for parking. Taxis and public transportation are also readily available.

ARRIVAL TIME:
Check-in time for new clients is 15 minutes prior to your first appointment. To know and meet your needs, we provide a brief intake form at arrival to fill out. We suggest returning clients arrive ten minutes prior to their appointment.

LATE ARRIVALS:
We understand that complications can lead to late arrivals. However, as a courtesy to guests with following appointments, late arrivals will only receive the remaining available appointment time and will be charged in full.

CHILDREN
Though children are an amazing asset to our lives, Allyu’s environment is not appropriate for unaccompanied children. Many of our guests are visiting specifically for quiet, adult time. Children under 13 are welcome while receiving a child-appropriate service in tandem with a parent or guardian. A signed permission form is needed for children under age 16 prior to receiving any service. Children in strollers or children not receiving an approved service are only permitted in the retail area. A parent must supervise children at all times.

AMENITIES:
Our space does not include communal locker rooms. Instead, to enhance the individual experience, we are happy to check items for you, and will provide a robe and spa bag for your personal items if you are receiving multiple services. You will change into spa sandals to begin your journey and, if you desire, can transition in our relaxation area before your service. An assortment of herbal teas and water are available for your enjoyment.

Private shower rooms are complimentary for our guests, but they do require reservation and are based on availability. Plush towels and eco-friendly toiletries are provided.

GRATUITIES:
Gratuities are accepted in cash. We can provide cash back on debit cards for gratuity if desired. Envelopes are available at the front desk during check out and will be dispersed to your practitioners.

FORMS OF PAYMENT:
Allyu Spa accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and cash. Payment is expected at the time of treatment.

RETURN POLICY
We hope you will be thrilled with every purchase you make at Allyu Spa. Should you be less than satisfied, products can be returned for retail or service credit within 30 days of purchase with valid receipt. All refunds are for SPA CREDIT ONLY.

Gift certificates, memberships, and spa service packages are non-refundable.

The wellness and safety of our guests and team is our utmost priority.

Covid 19 protocol updates

We are committed to offering you a relaxing and healing experience, while providing you confidence and safely in the environment. We have implemented internal protocols above industry guidelines to take care of you in the best possible manner.

  • Face coverings are optional for clients. 
  • If you prefer your practitioner mask during service, we are happy to accommodate. 
  • HEPA air purification systems, which have been proven effective in removing virus particulates, are located in every treatment room and throughout all shared spaces.
  • Contact surfaces are regularly sanitized.
  • Hand sanitizer is readily available in the treatment rooms and throughout the spa.
  • Waiting clients are spaced appropriately and social distancing is maintained whenever possible.
  • All clients are reminded that if they are ill, or feel unwell in any way, to please cancel or reschedule appointments as soon as possible.
